Introduction: Management of urethral trauma lacks clarity in the paediatric population. There is no clear guidance for management and follow-up of these patients which can lead to missing the long-term sequelae of the primary injury. Prostatic urethral lift (UroLift) is a budding minimally invasive technique that utilises mechanical manipulation of the prostate tissue so that the urethra is free from compression, thereby creating a channel for the outflow of urine. The aim of the audit was to assess the short- to medium-term outcomes in our centre in terms of improvement in symptoms, quality of life (QoL) and complication rates.

Background: We aimed to assess the rates of urethral stricture in transplant recipients, analyse patients with urethral strictures and present the posttreatment follow-up outcomes.
Methods: Between 2004 and 2023, a retrospective examination was conducted on kidney transplant recipients who underwent removal of ureteral catheters through retrograde cystoscopy at our facility or referred from external centres. The collected data encompassed patient demographics, pre- and posttransplant maximum urinary flow rate, specifics of stenosis, surgical interventions and outcomes from a 1-year follow-up.

Purpose: Urethral instrumentation (UI) in patients with an artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) demands technical considerations and poses a risk of urethral erosion, leading to serious clinical and legal consequences. We conducted a national survey to evaluate the knowledge and experience of Brazilian urologists with UI in these patients.
Methods: This study used an electronic survey distributed to members of the Brazilian Society of Urology.
