Registers facilitate the collection and communication of safety concerns. There are as many different register structures as registers, making the merging of rare data and comparison between registers difficult. BIOBADASER, the Safety Register of the Spanish Society of Rheumatology has served as template for other registers within the specialty, BIOBADAMERICA, and outside rheumatology, BIOBADADERM. Here we present the limitations and strengths of such template registers.

Introduction: Chronic disease self-management (CDSM) is a vital component of congestive heart failure (CHF) programmes. Recent CHF guidelines have downgraded CDSM programmes citing a lack of gold-standard evidence. This protocol describes the aims and methods of a systematic review to collate and synthesise the published research evidence to determine the effectiveness of CDSM programmes and interventions for patients treated for CHF.

Background: Bronchiolitis is a common lower respiratory tract illness, usually of viral aetiology, affecting infants younger than 24 months of age and is the most common cause of hospitalisation of infants. It causes airway inflammation, mucus production and mucous plugging, resulting in airway obstruction. Effective pharmacotherapy is lacking and bronchiolitis is a major cause of morbidity and mortality.

Aim: The Swedish Renal Registry (SRR) is a unique national quality registry that monitors the clinical trajectory of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). We have validated the biopsy data registered in the SRR for IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) diagnosis.
Methods: In total 25% of all patients (n = 142), registered with IgAN in the SRR after having performed a kidney biopsy during 2015-2019, were randomly selected.

The design of new protein structures is challenging due to their vast sequence space and the complexity of protein folding. Here, we report a new modular DNA-templated strategy to construct protein mimics. We achieve the spatial control of multiple peptide units by conjugation with DNA and hybridization to a branched DNA trimer template followed by covalent stapling of the preorganized peptides into a single unit.

Mixed reality (MR) registers virtual information and real objects and is an effective way to supplement astronaut training. Spatial anchors are generally used to perform virtual-real fusion in static scenes but cannot handle movable objects. To address this issue, we propose a smart task assistance method based on object detection and point cloud alignment.
