This study aimed to establish the optimal cut-off values for urinary cotinine and 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanol (NNAL)to determine smoking status in Korean women over 20 years of age and to assess the correlation of these biomarkers with reproductive health, particularly menopausal age, in postmenopausal women. This study investigates the factors influencing smoking behaviors in Iranian households, focusing on households with children under five years old.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional analysis of 8751 Iranian households using data from the Iranian Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) collected by the Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) in 2021.

Objective: This study aimed to develop and internally validate a nomogram in predicting the risk of recurrent respiratory tract infection (RRTI) in children.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed, involving 150 children with RRTI and 151 healthy controls, aged 0-14 years, admitted to or selected from the Pediatric Department of Yixing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between June 2022 and June 2023. Data were gathered through a comprehensive questionnaire survey on risk factors associated with RRTI.
