The aim of present study was to observe the effect of topical application of manuka honey in healing in the healing of postoperative mastoid cavity. A total of 100 patients diagnosed with chronic suppurative otitis media with cholesteatoma underwent canal wall down mastoidectomy, Manuka honey-soaked roller gauze pack was placed on Day 10 and was removed on day 17 and manuka honey was applied on day 17. Cavity was assessed on day 47 and day 90 on follow-up.

Introduction: Infection is a significant complication of cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) therapy. The European TauroPace™ Registry investigates the safety and efficacy of TauroPace™ (TP), an antimicrobial solution containing taurolidine, designed to prevent CIED infections.
Methods: This multicenter study included patients undergoing CIED procedures at participating centers where TP was used as a disinfectant for external hardware surfaces and an antiseptic for irrigating surgical sites.

Introduction: Mad honey is commonly used for hypertension, and coronary artery disease, and as a sexual stimulant. Patients with mad honey poisoning present with dizziness, nausea, syncope, blurred vision, bradycardia, and hypotension with ECG findings of sinus bradycardia, complete AV block, and ST elevation.
Case Discussion: Here, the authors report five cases admitted to our tertiary care center following the consumption of mad honey.

Aims And Objectives: To assess the effectiveness of different nonpharmacological treatments for severe radiation-induced oral mucositis in patients with head and neck cancer.
Background: Radiation-induced oral mucositis is highly prevalent in patients with head and neck cancer. Current medications for radiation-induced oral mucositis are limited in effectiveness and susceptible to side effects, and while there is an increasing adoption of nonpharmacological interventions, the optimal one remains unclear.

Aim Oxygen-enriched mouthwash products are based on oral topical oxygen therapy (OOT), which supports the formation of new blood vessels and the removal of toxins and waste products from the affected area and stimulates the synthesis of collagen. These antioxidant mouthwashes contain honey, lactoferrin, and sodium carbonate peroxide. Lactoferrin is an anti-inflammatory protein that binds the ferrous iron ions surrounding micro-organisms regulating bacterial growth.
