Unlabelled: This work presents a direct procedure to apply Padé method to find approximate solutions for nonlinear differential equations. Moreover, we present some cases study showing the strength of the method to generate highly accurate rational approximate solutions compared to other semi-analytical methods. The type of tested nonlinear equations are: a highly nonlinear boundary value problem, a differential-algebraic oscillator problem, and an asymptotic problem. The high accurate handy approximations obtained by the direct application of Padé method shows the high potential if the proposed scheme to approximate a wide variety of problems. What is more, the direct application of the Padé approximant aids to avoid the previous application of an approximative method like Taylor series method, homotopy perturbation method, Adomian Decomposition method, homotopy analysis method, variational iteration method, among others, as tools to obtain a power series solutions to post-treat with the Padé approximant.

Reservoir computing (RC) is a powerful machine learning algorithm for information processing. Despite numerous optical implementations, its speed and scalability remain limited by the need to establish recurrent connections and achieve efficient optical nonlinearities. This work proposes a streamlined photonic RC design based on a new paradigm, called next-generation RC, which overcomes these limitations.

Warfarin is the most widely used oral anticoagulant in clinical practice. The cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9), vitamin K epoxide reductase complex 1 (VKORC1), and cytochrome P450 4F2 (CYP4F2) genotypes are associated with warfarin dose requirements in China. Accurate genotyping is vital for obtaining reliable genotype-guided warfarin dosing information.

Given the complexity of the behavior of mining tailings dams built by the technique of hydraulic embankments and the recurring dam ruptures globally, especially in Brazil, ensuring enhanced safety through advanced disposal techniques becomes crucial. While the co-disposal method has been extensively explored for various mineral substances, a notable gap exists in the literature concerning its application specifically to tailings and waste rock generated from phosphate mining operations. This study aims to identify the optimal ratio for a mining tailings and waste rock mixture and evaluate its mechanical behavior in comparison to individual materials.

Key Laboratory of Advanced Polymeric Materials of Shanghai, School of Materials Science and Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, P. R. China.

As integrated circuits have developed towards the direction of complexity and miniaturization, there is an urgent need for low dielectric constant materials to effectively realize high-fidelity signal transmission. However, there remains a challenge to achieve ultralow dielectric constant and ultralow dielectric loss over a wide temperature range, not to mention having excellent thermal conductivity and processability concurrently. We herein prepare dual-linker freestanding covalent organic framework films with tailorable fluorine content via interfacial polymerization.
