Comparative analysis of the pharmacokinetics and bioequivalence of a new dipeptide anxiolytic compound GB-115 in three drug forms for peroral administration, developed in the experimental technology department of the Institute of pharmacology RAMS, was carried out. Three drug forms of GB-115 and a micronized substance of this compound were different in composition and technology of production. As a result of the investigations of GB-115 pharmacokinetics, drug form No. 2 (with a relative bioequivalence of 192%) showed advantages in comparison to the micronized parent substance and two other drug forms (bioequivalence, 53 and 117%) and can be recommended for further pharmacological studies.

The cultivation and differentiation of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) into organoids are crucial for advancing of new drug development and personalized cell therapies. Despite establishing of chemically defined hESC culture media over the past decade, these media's reliance on growth factors, which are costly and prone to degradation, poses a challenge for sustained and stable cell culture. Here, we introduce an hESC culture system(E6Bs) that facilitates the long-term, genetically stable expansion of hESCs, enabling cells to consistently sustain high levels of pluripotency markers, including NANOG, SOX2, TRA-1-60, and SSEA4, across extended periods.

In the present research, an attempt has been made to develop a new thin film microextraction method for the extraction of several polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from aqueous samples collected from different industrial units prior to their analysis by gas chromatography combined with a flame ionization detector. In this approach, a thin iron mesh was modified by the formation of iron(II) oxinate on its surface and used for the extraction of analytes without an additional sorbent. For this purpose, first, the mesh was immersed in a sulfuric acid solution and then transferred into an 8-hydroxy quinoline (oxine) solution dissolved in ammonia solution.

The human cellular cytidine deaminases APOBEC3s (A3s) inhibit virion infectivity factor (Vif)-deficient HIV-1 replication. However, virus-encoded Vifs abolish this defense system by specifically recruiting A3s to an E3 ubiquitin ligase complex to induce their degradation. The highly conserved Vif PPLP motif is critical for the Vif-mediated antagonism of A3s and is believed to be important for Vif multimerization.

Multimodal multiobjective optimization with structural network control principles to optimize personalized drug targets for drug discovery of individual patients.

Brief Bioinform

Structural network control principles provided novel and efficient clues for the optimization of personalized drug targets (PDTs) related to state transitions of individual patients. However, most existing methods focus on one subnetwork or module as drug targets through the identification of the minimal set of driver nodes and ignore the state transition capabilities of other modules with different configurations of drug targets [i.e.
