A total of 92 patients (92 eyes), including 52 patients with early-stage primary open-angle glaucoma and 40 glaucoma suspects, were enrolled in the study and followed up during 25.5 +/- 3.3 months on the average by means of computer perimetry, optical coherence tomography and Heidelberg retinal tomography. The prognoses for POAG progression made on the basis of these tests using both conventional (conservative) and extended (liberal) evaluation criteria demonstrated poor correspondence. It is suggested to consider glaucoma progression confirmed if characteristic changes are registered by at least two of the three methods.

Importance: Triple-negative breast cancer is an aggressive subtype with a high incidence in young patients, a high incidence in non-Hispanic Black women, and a high risk of progression to metastatic cancer, a devastating sequela with a 12- to 18-month life expectancy. Until recently, one strategy for treating early-stage triple-negative breast cancer was chemotherapy after surgery. However, it was not known whether the addition of immune therapy to postsurgery chemotherapy would be beneficial.

Background And Objectives: Primary care is often the first point of contact for patients with cognitive complaints, making initial cognitive screening an essential step to avoid delays in diagnosing Alzheimer's disease (AD) at an early stage. We developed MemScreen, a self-administered smartphone application that assesses overall cognition and verbal memory, and evaluated its ability to detect mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in both general and clinical populations.
Methods: We conducted two validation cohort studies: (1) UK-based Whitehall II cohort study (13th wave, 2018-2022) involving a general population (MCI defined by poor performance on a global cognitive score), and (2) five French memory clinics involving patients without dementia (amnestic MCI defined by the Free and Cued Selective Reminding Test).

Introduction: The infrapatellar fat pad and synovium are the sites of immune cell infiltration and the origin of proinflammation. Studies have shown that Hoffa's synovitis may be a sign of early-stage osteoarthritis (OA). However, there have been no effective interventions specifically for Hoffa's synovitis.

This paper describes the findings from the first national survey of family medicine in India.

Background: Recent studies have also shown that clinical monitoring of quality of life (HRQoL) helps to recognize kidney transplant failure at an early stage.
Objectives: Given the potential of improving HRQoL for the long-term outcomes of kidney transplantation, we conducted a rapid review of the last 5 years of quality of life evaluation after adult allogeneic kidney transplantation.
Materials And Methods: A rapid evidence analysis was carried out using a literature search in MEDLINE in the period 2019-2024.
