Researchers have modified PLA materials to enhance their mechanical properties and meet the clinical requirements. However, the strength and stiffness of PLA are still significantly lower than those of metals. Building on the established chevron clinical procedure and considering the mechanical characteristics of PLA screws, we devised a modified chevron osteotomy (MCO) based on a load-reducing structure with the aim of reducing the load on the screws.

Autonomous driving has demonstrated impressive driving capabilities, with behavior decision-making playing a crucial role as a bridge between perception and control. Imitation Learning (IL) and Reinforcement Learning (RL) have introduced innovative approaches to behavior decision-making in autonomous driving, but challenges remain. On one hand, RL's policy networks often lack sufficient reasoning ability to make optimal decisions in highly complex and stochastic environments.

Objective: Phonocardiography has recently gained popularity in low-cost and remote monitoring, including passive fetal heart monitoring. The development of methods which analyse phonocardiographic data tries to capitalize on this opportunity, and in recent years a multitude of such algorithms and models have been published. In these approaches there is little to no standardization and multiple parts of these models have to be reimplemented on a case-by-case basis.

Flexible strain monitoring of hand and joint muscle movement is recognized as an effective method for the diagnosis and rehabilitation of neurological diseases such as stroke and Parkinson's disease. However, balancing high sensitivity and large strain, improving wearing comfort, and solving the separation of diagnosis and treatment are important challenges for further building tele-healthcare systems. Herein, a hydrogel-based optical waveguide stretchable (HOWS) sensor is proposed in this paper.
