Results of organpreserving operations on a small pelvis organs, performed in 337 patients-women, were analyzed. While heightened bleeding capacity of tissues in 39.3% women-patients when performing plastic operations on uterine tubes for ectopic pregnancy, cystectomy and conservative myomectomy with objective to stop hemorrhage the bleeding cessating plate Tachocomb was applied. It have permitted to perform organpreserving operations, to avoid complications, connected with intraoperative hemorrhage. Inclusion of Serrata preparation into rehabilitation therapy have promoted lowering of the pain syndrome severity and rate of occurrence of the adhesions process postoperatively.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) driven by the mutation presents a formidable health challenge because of limited treatment options. MRTX1133 is a highly selective and first-in-class KRAS-G12D inhibitor under clinical development. Here, we report that the advanced glycosylation end product-specific receptor (AGER) plays a key role in mediating MRTX1133 resistance in PDAC cells.

Calcination-Induced Tight Nano-Heterointerface for Highly Effective Eradication of Rib Fracture-Related Infection by Near-Infrared Irradiation.

ACS Appl Mater Interfaces

January 2025

School of Materials Science & Engineering, The Key Laboratory of Advanced Ceramics and Machining Technology by the Ministry of Education of China, Tianjin University, Tianjin 300072, China.

Rib fracture-related infection is a challenging complication of thoracic trauma due to the difficulty of treating it with antibiotics alone and the need for a second operation to remove the infected fixator and sterilize the surrounding infected tissue. In this study, inspired by the photocatalytic performance of and ion release from silver-based materials, including AgPO and AgS, a hybrid AgPO-AgS heterojunction was prepared based on anion exchange and a one-step calcination process to design a nonantibiotic coating aimed at preventing and treating rib fracture-related infection with short-term 808 nm near-infrared irradiation. Calcination at 250 °C enhanced the inductive effect of the phosphate radical and led to the formation of a tight nanoheterogeneous interface between AgPO and AgS, thereby promoting interfacial electron transfer and reducing the recombination of photogenerated carriers.

Background: Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection poses a significant risk to kidney transplant recipients. This study investigated CMV disease incidence, outcomes, and management challenges in racial and ethnic minority populations following kidney transplantation.

Methods: This single-center, mixed-methods study included a retrospective cohort analysis of kidney transplant recipients (n = 58) and qualitative surveys of healthcare providers.

Using tremendous photon statistics gained with the stray light aperture of the NuSTAR telescope over 11 years of operation, we set strong limits on the emission of close to monochromatic photons from the radiative decays of putative dark matter sterile neutrinos in the Milky Way. In the energy range of 3-20 keV covered by the NuSTAR, the obtained limits reach the bottom edge of theoretical predictions of realistic models where sterile neutrinos are produced in the early Universe. Only a small region is left to explore, if the sterile neutrinos form the entire dark matter component.

Gigahertz Surface Acoustic Wave Topological Rainbow in Nanoscale Phononic Crystals.

Phys Rev Lett

December 2024

Nanjing University, National Laboratory of Solid State Microstructures & Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanjing 210093, China.

Precisely engineered gigahertz surface acoustic wave (SAW) trapping enables diverse and controllable interconnections with various quantum systems, which are crucial to unlocking the full potential of phonons. The topological rainbow based on synthetic dimension presents a promising avenue for facile and precise localization of SAWs. In this study, we successfully developed a monolithic gigahertz SAW topological rainbow by utilizing a nanoscale translational deformation as a synthetic dimension.
