Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is the most serious iatrogenic complication of IVF cycles. Although the development of effective treatment strategies for this syndrome is important, preventing OHSS is more crucial. Triggering ovulation with a gonadotrophin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist is one method used to avoid OHSS. In this paper, three patients who developed severe OHSS after undergoing GnRH agonist triggering and freezing of all embryos in a GnRH antagonist protocol are described. A review of the literature is also provided. This report highlights the ongoing risk of severe OHSS even after GnRH agonist triggering combined with freezing all embryos in GnRH antagonist cycles. Other prevention strategies might be considered for extreme hyper-responders.

Endometriosis affects about 10 percent women in the reproductive age group globally and approximately 42 million in India. Managing the patient's pain symptoms associated with endometriosis appears to be the cornerstone in endometriosis disease management. The ideal medical treatment in endometriosis would be suppressing estradiol enough to alleviate symptoms of endometriosis but maintain sufficient levels to mitigate hypoestrogenic side effects.

To explore the impact of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRH-a) on the pregnancy outcomes in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles for patients with recurrent implantation failure (RIF) complicated by chronic endometriti (CE). A total of 138 patients with RIF combined with CE who underwent in vitro fertilization/intracytoplamic sperm injection treatment-embryo transfer in the Department of Reproductive Medicine, Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Capital Medical University from January 2020 to December 2023 were retrospectively included. According to the endometrial preparation protocol, they were divided into two groups: the pituitary downregulation group (=59) and the artificial cycle group (=79).

Background: Prostate cancer therapy with surgical or chemical castration with GnRH agonists has been linked to elevated FSH levels, which may contribute to secondary health disorders, including atherosclerosis and diabetes. Although recent findings suggest a role for FSH beyond the reproductive system, its metabolic impact remains unclear and difficult to disentangle from that of androgens. In this study, we examined the metabolic changes induced by FSH and distinguished them from those caused by testosterone.

Objectives: Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a distinct subtype of breast cancer that has a poor prognosis due to the lack of effective therapeutic agents. Since a significant proportion of human surgical samples of TNBC expressed mRNA for the growth hormone (GH), growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), and gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptors, and the mitogenic proliferative activity of GH, GHRH, and GnRH, have been identified as effective therapeutic targets for somatostatin and its analogs and GnRH analogs, Di Bella Method (DBM), a combination of hormonal analogs and vitamins, was introduced to target and inhibit solid tumors. The present study aimed to improve the prognosis of TNBC using DBM in women with TNBC.

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the correlation of ovarian sensitivity index (OSI) and clinical parameters in IVF treatments.

Methods: IVF data files between January 2011 and December 2020 in a single unit were included. The primary outcome measure was the correlation between the OSI and clinical pregnancy and live birth rates.
