The existing analog reordering and folding technology has the following problems: it cause the attenuation of the ultrasonic signal, and it is difficult to achieve beam steering in color Doppler ultrasonic diagnostic instrument. This article proposes a design method to achieve digital reordering of dynamic focusing data. The digital reordering is composed of two parts, bit reordering which is implemented with multiplier and byte reordering using switch selection. The results show that it can meet the design requirements using fewer resources.

A Dual Blind Watermarking Method for 3D Models Based on Normal Features.

Entropy (Basel)

Digital watermarking technology is an important means to effectively protect three-dimensional (3D) model data. Among them, "blind detection" and "robustness" are key and difficult points in the current research of digital watermarking technology based on 3D models. In order to realize the blind detection of a watermark and improve its robustness against various common attacks at the same time, this paper proposes a dual blind watermarking method based on the normal feature of the centroid of first-ring neighboring points.

Electrical turbulence in the heart is considered the culprit of cardiac disease, including the fatal ventricular fibrillation. Optogenetics is an emerging technology that has the capability to produce action potentials of cardiomyocytes to affect the electric wave propagation in cardiac tissue, thereby possessing the potential to control the turbulence, by shining a rotating spiral pattern onto the tissue. In this paper, we present a method to reorder and synchronize electrical turbulence through optogenetics.

Study Objective: Delays in the second dose of antibiotics in the emergency department (ED) are associated with increased morbidity and mortality in patients with serious infections. We analyzed the influence of clinical decision support to prevent delays in second doses of broad-spectrum antibiotics in the ED.

Methods: We allocated adult patients who received cefepime or piperacillin/tazobactam in 9 EDs within an integrated health care system to an electronic alert that reminded ED clinicians to reorder antibiotics at the appropriate interval vs usual care.

Background: Under the paradigm of precision medicine (PM), patients with the same disease can receive different personalized therapies according to their clinical and genetic features. These therapies are determined by the totality of all available clinical evidence, including results from case reports, clinical trials, and systematic reviews. However, it is increasingly difficult for physicians to find such evidence from scientific publications, whose size is growing at an unprecedented pace.

To understand the computations that underlie high-level cognitive processes we propose a framework of mechanisms that could in principle implement START, an AI program that answers questions using natural language. START organizes a sentence into a series of triplets, each containing three elements (subject, verb, object). We propose that the brain similarly defines triplets and then chunks the three elements into a spatial pattern.
