The pathophysiological mechanism of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) remains unclear. We previously reported that levels were reduced in the feces of patients with AAA by 16S ribosomal ribonucleic acid (RNA) gene sequencing. In this study, we increased the number of cases and conducted metagenomic analyses to examine bacterial genes associated with the pathophysiology of AAA.

Background: Jersey milk, known for its high protein content, is an excellent base for yogurt production. Given that Jersey milk is derived from Jersey cows, this study was to isolate probiotics from Jersey cow feces and investigate their potential as alternative starter cultures for fermenting Jersey milk. Our goal was to develop new starter cultures specifically suited for Jersey yogurt production, while also contributing to the diversity of fermentation agents available for dairy products.

Aim: This study aimed to investigate the antibacterial efficacy of probiotic-derived cell-free supernatants (CFS) encapsulated within nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) against multidrug-resistant and . Additionally, it aimed to identify specific bioactive compounds that contribute to the reported antibacterial properties by characterizing the metabolite substances present in the CFS using a metabolomic analysis technique.
Methods: Eight strains of lactic acid bacteria including (L22F and L25F), (P72N, BF9, BF 14, BYF 20 and BYF 26) and (BF 12) were selected as probiotic candidates.
