Background: Clinical feedback is often lacking in prehospital care, and while performance data is increasingly available to clinical and operational leadership, it is seldom made available to care providers themselves. In this study, we investigate the impact of a simple intervention consisting of the provision of monthly feedback reports via email to emergency medical dispatch nurses in three Swedish regions.
Method: Individualised reports consisting of 14 measures divided into descriptive (eg, priority-setting and call times), process (eg, dispatch times and documentation completeness) and outcome (eg, over/under triage rate) categories were developed with staff and management input.

Recently, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has placed more attention on the mental health of student-athletes because they are experiencing mental health challenges at a higher rate than their nonathlete peers. This led the NCAA to create a mental health initiative that encouraged athletic departments to hire a mental health professional to meet the psychological needs of student-athletes. Over the last 7 years, we have seen an increase in the number of psychological providers hired in NCAA Division I athletics to meet the varying needs of student-athletes.

Chronic subdural haematoma (cSDH) is a common subtype of traumatic brain injury, typically affecting older people living with frailty and multimorbidity. Until now, no published guideline has existed internationally to guide management, perhaps explaining why the care of the older cSDH patient varies between neurosurgical centres. The Improving Care in Elderly Neurosurgery Initiative guideline is the first guideline dedicated to the care of patients with cSDH across the entire patient pathway, from initial presentation through to rehabilitation and discharge after surgery.

Background: The events of October 7, 2023, and the subsequent war have starkly exposed the shortcoming of Israel's public mental health system. This system, already strained by years of underfunding and the COVID-19 pandemic, was unprepared for the surge in mental health needs resulting from these traumatic events. This paper outlines the systemic failures and proposes a comprehensive overhaul reform towards an integrative community-based, recovery-oriented mental health service.
