Context: Endocapsular hematoma has previously been described as a cataract surgery complication more commonly observed in eyes receiving a combined cataract and glaucoma surgery. However, it can also be a rare form of ocular bleed following thrombolysis with streptokinase.

Case Report: A 65-year-old diabetic male presented to us with complain of sudden painless diminution of vision in his left eye, which he developed while he was being thrombolysed with streptokinase administered intravenously for an episode of acute myocardial infarct. On examination, left eye was pseudophakic with collection of blood in the capsular bag (Endocapsular hematoma).

Conclusion: Endocapsular hematoma can be a rare form of ocular bleeding complicated by thrombolysis. Reporting this case becomes more relevant in the present era with increasing number of patients suffering from ischemic heart disease and likely to undergo thrombolysis.

Background: The prognosis of patients with thalamic hemorrhage is poor, and their long-term neurological impairment is heavy, which seriously affects their work and life.To comparatively analyse the efficacy and prognosis of patients with moderate hemorrhage in the thalamic region who underwent conservative treatment, stereotactic puncture surgery and neuroendoscopic surgery.

Method: This study retrospectively analyzed hospitalization data from 139 adult patients with moderate-volume cerebral hemorrhage in the thalamo-endocapsular region.

Purpose: To present a surgical modification to a previously published technique that allows repositioning and scleral fixation of one-piece acrylic intraocular lenses with tapered haptics.

Methods: A retrospective review of three consecutive cases.

Results: Our technique modification enables repositioning using scleral suture fixation of one-piece intraocular lenses with tapered haptics by looping the haptic at its proximal, notched junction to the optic with the polypropylene suture.

Aim: To report a large hyphema following femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery (FLACS) and trabectome resulting in endocapsular hematoma.

Background: Hyphema has previously been described following trabectome, however, no cases have been reported following FLACS or FLACS combined with microinvasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). We report a case of a large hyphema following FLACS combined with MIGS that resulted in an endocapsular hematoma.

Herein we describe a 55-year-old woman presented with a chief complaint of visual loss in the right eye of 3 days duration. The patient underwent uncomplicated phacoemulsification cataract surgery on the right eye 1 week ago. Slit lamp examination revealed accumulation of blood in the capsular bag behind the intraocular lens with blood level.

Case Report: A 68-year-old male with a cataract and uncontrolled primary open angle glaucoma with maximal tolerated medication underwent non-penetrating deep sclerectomy combined with phacoemulsification surgery in right eye. There were no complications during the procedure, but shortly after the surgery, he lost visual acuity after a Valsalva manoeuvre due to an endocapsular haematoma. Neodymium:YAG laser posterior capsulotomy was performed for the treatment of an unresolving endocapsular haemorrhage at the third month of the follow-up, with immediate visual improvement and optimal control of intraocular pressure.
