The authors study three clinical cases of Pacinian neurofibromas. All of them were located in the fingers. A bibliographic review was performed. The morphologic, clinical and histological features are reviewed and stressed its benign behavior and special localization.

Introduction: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), which occur anywhere in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, typically occur in the stomach and small intestine but rarely in the duodenum. We present a case report wherein a descending duodenal GIST was treated with a limited, minimally invasive surgery after endoscopic nasobiliary drainage (ENBD) insertion.

The presence of high tumor budding in colorectal carcinomas is a significant pathological feature indicative of a high potential for lymph node metastasis. Our aim was to investigate the prognostic impact of tumor budding in ampullary carcinomas. The authors aimed to characterize the incidence of syrinxes and the pattern of congenital anomalies in pediatric patients with VACTERL association, with a specific focus on the presence of idiopathic syrinxes in this population.
