Patients explicit and unambiguous information, patients consents and privacy protection are reviewed in this article, in the frame of the deployment of the information system TEDIS dedicated to autism spectrum disorders. The role of the Delegate to the Protection of Data is essential at this stage. We developed a privacy protection scheme based on storing encrypted patients personal data on the server database and decrypting it on the Web browser. It tries to respond to the end-users request to manage nominative data in a human readable form and to meet with privacy protection framework.

Background: Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) is the most effective intervention for opioid use disorder (OUD), but retention has decreased due to increasingly potent drugs like fentanyl. This cohort can be used retrospectively to observe trends in service utilization, healthcare integration, healthcare costs and patient outcomes. It also facilitates the design of observational studies to mimic a prospective design.

Introduction: The benefits of sharing participant-level data, including clinical or epidemiological data, genomic data, high-dimensional imaging data, or human-derived samples, from biomedical studies have been widely touted and may be taken for granted. As investments in data sharing and reuse efforts continue to grow, understanding the cost and positive and negative effects of data sharing for research participants, the general public, individual researchers, research and development, clinical practice, and public health is of growing importance. In this scoping review, we will identify and summarize existing evidence on the positive and negative impacts and costs of data sharing and how they are measured.

Background: The Russian military invasion of Ukraine has sparked Europe's largest forced displacement since World War II, bringing about significant health vulnerabilities for migrants and refugees. European health information systems lack comprehensive data coverage, especially in underrepresented migration stages like transit. This study aims to address this gap by analyzing data from INTERSOS clinics at the Moldovan and Polish borders with Ukraine to identify the common health conditions prompting people to seek healthcare services during transit.

Missing values arise routinely in real-world sequential (string) datasets due to: (1) imprecise data measurements; (2) flexible sequence modeling, such as binding profiles of molecular sequences; or (3) the existence of confidential information in a dataset which has been deleted deliberately for privacy protection. In order to analyze such datasets, it is often important to replace each missing value, with one or more letters, in an efficient and effective way. Here we formalize this task as a combinatorial optimization problem: the set of constraints includes the of the missing value (i.

What are the Thoughts of Women Whose Husbands' Frozen Testicular Sperm Is Thawed for in vitro Fertilization on the Day of Oocyte Retrieval? A Qualitative Study.

Int J Womens Health

January 2025

Nursing Department, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, College of Medicine, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, People's Republic of China.

Objective: The psychological experiences will be analyzed to understand the needs and burdens of women on the day of oocyte retrieval when the thawed testicular sperm of their husbands is used for in vitro fertilization, in order to provide a basis for the subsequent formulation of relevant nursing measures.

Methods: This study utilized a descriptive phenomenological research approach. A cohort of 13 women undergoing oocyte retrieval on the day when thawed testicular sperm from their husbands is used for in vitro fertilization at the Reproductive Medicine Center of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, between August and October 2024, were chosen as participants for this study.
