Background: There is significant interest in understanding the nature of the inflammatory response and its role in Alzheimers disease (AD) pathophysiology. Immune cell phenotypes and their key pathway activation by AD stage is unclear. We therefore evaluated immune cell phenotypes in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and their transcriptional profile comparing AD-dementia, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)-AD and normal cognition controls using transcriptomics.

A critical need exists to find simpler approaches for early detection of Alzheimer disease (AD) and related dementias. These approaches must increase access to preventative interventions and treatments, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological, for people in preclinical and prodromal stages of disease. This need has been amplified by the emergence of disease modifying therapies (DMTs), which require biological confirmation of amyloid-ß positivity.

Previous reports of CBS-LBD describe patients with diffuse LBD, a younger age of onset and occasionally lacking core features like REM sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD).
Method: We present a young patient with CBS who had a rapid progression and was found to have a high burden of limbic LBD and high AD co-pathology at autopsy.

A 2-year-old female entire Golden Retriever with a history of being subdued was seen. Her physical and neurological examinations were initially unremarkable, but she acutely progressed to non-ambulatory paraparesis, with absent cervical or thoracolumbar hyperaesthesia. Magnetic resonance imaging of the vertebral column was performed, showing a well-defined, intradural-extramedullary mass at the level of the caudal aspect of L2 causing right-sided ventrolateral marked cord compression.

Background: Leptomeningeal metastasis of gastric adenocarcinoma (LM-GC) is a rare and severe complication with a poor prognosis, its prognosis is significantly poorer than liver, lung, and peritoneal metastases. Studies on LM-GC have been limited to clinical case reports. Despite advances in systemic therapies, there is a lack of standardized treatment protocols for LM-GC due to its rarity and the challenges it presents.
