To examine the therapeutic effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese medicine in conjunction with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors for nourishing yin and replenishing qi in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. A systematic search was conducted across seven electronic databases, namely PubMed, Cochrane Library, Excerpt Medica Database, Web of Science, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Wan-fang Database, to identify eligible studies from 2,000 to 2,023. This study includes a total of 14 randomized controlled clinical trials, with 514 patients in the TCM combo therapy group and 506 patients in the control group.

Background: Xerostomia, or dry mouth, is a common and debilitating symptom in patients with Sjögren's syndrome, affecting their quality of life. Although Cevimeline, a muscarinic agonist, has been investigated as a potential treatment, its efficacy and optimal dosage remain uncertain. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of Cevimeline in relieving xerostomia in patients with Sjögren's syndrome by a meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials (RCT).

Background: To compare the efficacy and safety of novel oral anticoagulants (NOACs) and vitamin K antagonists (VKAs) in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) patients with left atrial/left atrial thrombosis through a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Methods: The CBM (China Biology Medicine disc), CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), VIP (Chinese Technology Periodical Database), Wanfang, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases were searched for relevant studies from their inception to June 30, 2022.
Results: Twelve articles (eight cohort studies and four randomized controlled trials) involving 982 patients were included.
Patients' preferences are crucial to formulating personalized treatment plans. We developed a self-reported questionnaire, Therapy Preference Scale (TPS), to examine treatment preferences of patients with cancer. TPS has 30 questions-19 on patients' preferences on safety, quality of life, and treatment effectiveness, 8 questions on importance of various treatment characteristics, and 3 on patients' preferred intent of therapy, expenses, and life expectancy gain.
