This study investigated the impact of an improved body positioning on the effectiveness of EDGE MP1000 robot-assisted laparoscopic partial nephrectomy. We compared clinical data from 39 patients who underwent the procedure at Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University between November 2023 and May 2024. The control group (18 patients) received conventional positioning, while the experimental group (21 patients) received precise positioning, which included patient assessments, optimized positioning techniques, and enhanced nursing measures.

Introduction And Hypothesis: When adopting new methods, surgeons may experience a period of complexity and longer operation times because of their inexperience. This period is known as the "learning curve." This study was aimed at systematically reviewing the current literature on functional urology learning curves.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to assess the 5-year impact of a per oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) program on both clinical and financial outcomes for our hospital system and the rural community we serve.
Methods: We evaluated the clinical and financial outcomes of all patients who underwent POEM for achalasia. Patients were also contacted by phone to complete the Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease-Health Related Quality of Life (GERD-HRQL) questionnaire postoperatively.

This study evaluated the impact of aspirin on the biochemical recurrence (BCR) rate following robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) in patients. A database search identified patients who underwent RARP for pT2-3N0M0 disease at any of 25 centers between 2011 and 2022, categorized into aspirin (n = 350) and control groups (n = 5857). Adjustment by 1:1 propensity score matching (PSM) and Mahalanobis distance matching (MDM) created 350 matched pairs.

Objectives: To explore new metrics for assessing radical prostatectomy difficulty through a two-stage deep learning method from preoperative magnetic resonance imaging.
Methods: The procedure and metrics were validated through 290 patients consisting of laparoscopic and robot-assisted radical prostatectomy procedures from two real cohorts. The nnUNet_v2 adaptive model was trained to perform accurate segmentation of the prostate and pelvis.
