Background: Laparoscopy-assisted distal gastrectomy (LADG) with Billroth I (B-I) reconstruction is frequently performed for gastric cancer. However, the difference between the circular stapler technique (CS) and delta-shaped anastomosis (DA) remains unclear, especially regarding the postoperative endoscopic physiological findings.
Methods: Three hundred and one patients including 150 CS patients and 151 DA patients during LADG with B-I reconstruction between 2013 and 2019 at Saitama Medical University International Medical Center were chosen as study subjects.

Introduction: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) accounts for 80% of esophageal cancer (EC) worldwide. The molecular characteristics of locally advanced ESCC have been extensively studied.
Methods: In this study, we investigate the genomic and transcriptomic characteristics and try to provide the basic T-cell receptors (TCRs) dynamics and its genomic and transcriptome association during the radiochemotherapy of ESCC using multi-omics analysis.

Aberrant expression of grainyhead-like transcription factor 3 (GRHL3) has been extensively reported in the development and progression of several squamous cell carcinomas, such as cutaneous, head and neck, and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. However, the clinical significance and biological roles of GRHL3 in lung squamous cell (LUSC) carcinoma are largely unclear. Herein, we report that GRHL3 was significantly upregulated in lung squamous epithelium of LUSC tissues, bronchiole, and bronchus.
