Background: Rebound pain is believed to involve both nociceptive pain due to insufficient analgesia and hyperalgesia induced by regional anesthesia. Adjuvant's addition could prevent rebound pain. This study aimed to determine if the addition of dexamethasone or clonidine to local anesthetic when performing interscalene block could prevent rebound pain.

Parsonage-Turner syndrome (PTS) is a non-traumatic disorder of the shoulder girdle, marked by sudden-onset neuropathic pain, spontaneous improvement, and progression to paralysis, muscle weakness, and atrophy. Various etiological factors have been linked to PTS. This clinical case report documents the development of PTS following dengue virus exposure.

Background: Inflammatory conditions often mimic musculoskeletal presentations, causing diagnostic delays in primary and secondary care. Physiotherapists can play a pivotal role in the early recognition, triage, and onward referral for inflammatory conditions such as polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR). While PMR is relatively rare, recognition of its characteristic presentation, alongside elevated serum inflammatory markers, is a much-needed step to initiate appropriate intervention following specialized rheumatological consultation.

Introduction: Osteonecrosis (ON) of the humeral head is defined as "avascular" when the death of bone is due to a disrupted blood supply. It is a known complication following proximal humeral fractures and can lead to poor long-term outcomes and even additional revision surgeries.
Case Report: Patient AP developed symptomatic ON, 3 years following repair of a 4-part valgus impacted proximal humerus fracture.

There is growing evidence that infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) can lead to dysregulation of the immune system and, consequently, the development of autoimmune phenomena. Here, we describe the case of a 75-year-old woman with rheumatic manifestations characterized by intense musculoskeletal pain and stiffness in the neck and shoulders, with sudden onset and with the inability to raise her arms. The patient was admitted with severe pain located in the neck and shoulders.
