Objective: To analyze the incidence and clinicopathological features of incidental prostate cancer (IPCa) in specimens from radical cystoprostatectomy (RCP) for bladder cancer.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the histopathological features of 865 male patients who underwent an RCP between January 2005 and March 2014. No patients had preoperative clinical or biological suspicion of prostate cancer (PCa).
Results: Among the 865 specimens, IPCa was diagnosed in 235 patients (27.2%). Most tumors (228/235, 97.0%) were organ-confined (pT2); And 7 cases (3.0 %) of them were diagnosed at T3. Gleason score was < 6 in 84 cases (35.7 %), 6 in 77 cases (32.8%), 7 in 64 cases (27.2 %), and > 7 in 10 cases (4.3 %).
Conclusion: The rate of incidentally diagnosed IPCa was 8.5%, and that in RCP and TURP specimens was 19.5% and 4.4% respectively. The majority of these IPCas were organ-confined. Gleason score in most of these specimens was ≤ 7. Moreover, prostate examination in the RCP specimen should be careful and sufficient, whole-amount prostate sections improve diagnostic accuracy.

Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate treatment patterns and long-term oncological outcomes of patients with locally advanced prostate cancer (LAPCa).
Patients And Methods: This is a population-based study including LAPC (cT3-4, M0) patients from the Stockholm region (Sweden). A sub-analysis was performed in men treated with primary cystoprostatectomy or total pelvic exenteration (TPE) for cT4 prostate cancer (PCa).

Background: Carcinoma in situ of the bladder is a high-grade cancer that originates in the superficial layer of the bladder. It has the potential to invade nearby organs, and it can spread through blood and lymphatic circulation to distant parts of the body.
Case Presentation: A 58-year-old non-smoker male presented with gross and microscopic hematuria.

Background: Advances in chromatography and mass spectrometry have allowed us to develop a novel technique for measuring intraprostatic hormone concentrations directly on prostate needle biopsies, rather than using traditional punch excision. This has significant clinical implications as intraprostatic dihydrotestosterone and testosterone levels could help monitor prostate growth, neoplasia and castration resistance.
Methods: Patients undergoing radical cystoprostatectomy for bladder cancer were prospectively included.

Purpose: To describe the incidence and management of patients who develop a prostatic urethral (PU) urothelial carcinoma recurrence after Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) induction for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC).
Materials And Methods: We performed a retrospective cohort study of all patients who received BCG induction at our institution from 1996 to 2021 (N = 642) for NMIBC. All patients with pathologically confirmed PU involvement following BCG induction with no known PU involvement pre-BCG were included.

Purpose: To compare 90-day perioperative complications and pathological outcomes between laparoscopic radical cystectomy (LRC) and extraperitoneal radical cystectomy (EORC) approaches.
Materials And Methods: All operations were performed in a single high-volume tertiary referee center by the same surgical team.Males ≥ 18 years with pre-cystectomy clinical T1-T3 disease and having undergone an ileal conduit were included.
