Introduction: Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPPN) was first characterized by Virginia Frantz in 1959. The duodenum-preserving pancreatic head resection (DPPHR) has been described as treatment for low-grade malignant tumors of the head of the pancreas including eight cases of SPPN.

Presentation Of Case: A 16-year-old white female patient presented with abdominal pain and dyspepsia. Computed tomography scan of abdomen showed a 10×9×10cm(3) lesion on the pancreatic head. After radiological diagnosis of SPPN the patient was submitted to DPPHR. Resection was achieved with clear margins. Immunohistochemical study demonstrated positivity for progesterone receptor, β-catenin, cytoplasmic paranuclear dot-like CD99, negativity for chromogranin and S100 protein and Ki 67 index of 1%.

Discussion: A large encapsulated pancreatic mass with well-defined borders that contains areas of calcifications and intratumoral hemorrhage on CT scan in a young female is virtually diagnostic of an SPPN. A particular dot-like intracytoplasmic expression of CD99 appears to be highly unique for SPPN CONCLUSION: DPPHR should be considered in cases of SPPN in the pancreas head if there is no compromise with oncologic radicality.

Objectives: Every year, around 300 million surgeries are conducted worldwide, with an estimated 4.2 million deaths occurring within 30 days after surgery. Adequate patient education is crucial, but often falls short due to the stress patients experience before surgery.

Introduction: Locally advanced pancreatic cancer (LAPC) is a borderline unresectable malignancy that presents significant treatment challenges. The management of LAPC remains a complex issue, particularly in patients who are not eligible for surgical resection.

Case: Here, we report the case of a 60-year-old woman diagnosed with LAPC through pathological biopsy who subsequently underwent targeted immunotherapy following the failure of a gemcitabine, oxaliplatin, and S-1 (G&S) chemotherapy regimen.

Highly sensitized (HS) patients in need of kidney transplantation (KTx) typically spend a longer time waiting for compatible kidneys, are unlikely to receive an organ offer, and are at increased risk of antibody-mediated rejection (AMR). Desensitization using imlifidase, which is more rapid and removes total body immunoglobulin G (IgG) to a greater extent than other methods, enables transplantation to occur between HLA-incompatible (HLAi) donor-recipient pairs and allows patients to have greater access to KTx. However, when the project was launched there was limited data and clinical experience with desensitization in general and with imlifidase specifically.

Pancreatic carcinoma has remained one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Cancer originating in the head of pancreas is often detected early in the disease due to biliary obstruction resulting in jaundice. In contrast, cancer of the pancreatic body and tail remains indolent, presenting late with significantly increased tumor burden and distant metastasis.

Extra-adrenal pheochromocytomas are rare neuroendocrine tumors originating outside the adrenal glands and can pose significant diagnostic challenges due to their variable presentations. This report highlights a case of an extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma masquerading as a pancreatic head malignancy. We underscore the importance of considering extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma in the differential diagnosis of pancreatic masses, particularly when biochemical or clinical features suggest catecholamine excess.
