Purpose: The purpose of this manuscript is to report a rare case of an orbital cyst detected intrauterine with sonography.
Observation: A 23-year-old female presented for routine prenatal monitoring when an orbital cyst was detected with a transabdominal ultrasound. Uncomplicated cesarean section was performed at 38 weeks gestation with proptosis of the left globe being noted on ophthalmic examination of the newborn.

It is rare to find free floating fat droplets in the cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) spaces of the brain. When fat droplets are seen in the CSF spaces, the most common cause is the rupture of a dermoid cyst. Dermoid cysts are congenital inclusion cysts that form during the neural tube closure between the third and fifth weeks of embryogenesis.

Purpose: The objective of this study is to present the largest personal series of oral teratomas already published in English literature and discuss the diagnosis, neonatal management, and surgical treatment of this disorder.
Method: The study included patients treated by the senior author (RSF) between 2004 and 2023. Data were collected regarding prenatal evaluation, perinatal approach, surgical management, evolution, and treatment of secondary deformities.
Nasoethmoidal dermoid cysts are rare congenital ectodermal malformations. Unlike other dermoid cysts, those located in the midline can exhibit intracranial extension. Clinically, they may manifest with sebaceous discharge through a fistulous orifice and other morphologic alterations, occasionally presenting with complications at the onset.
