Background: Struma ovarii is a rare tumor, a type of ovarian mature teratoma consisting over 50% of its mass in thyroid ectopic tissue; 5% to 10% of cases, as described in the literature, are malignant and well known as malignant struma ovarii or thyroid cancer from struma ovarii. Due to the limited number of malignant struma ovarii cases, the diagnostic and therapeutic approach of malignant struma ovarii lacks in standardization.
Methods: We performed a comprehensive search on the English language PubMed and Google Scholar.

Objectives: The growing incidence of differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) have been linked to insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. The imperative need for developing effective diagnostic imaging tools to predict the non-iodine-avid status of lung metastasis (LMs) in differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) patients is underscored to prevent unnecessary radioactive iodine treatment (RAI).
Methods: Primary cohort consisted 1962 pretreated LMs of 496 consecutive DTC patients with pretreated initially diagnosed LMs who underwent chest CT and subsequent post-treatment radioiodine SPECT.

Purpose: This study aimed to assess the accuracy of patient-specific absorbed dose calculations for tumours and organs at risk in radiopharmaceutical therapy planning, utilizing hybrid planar-SPECT/CT imaging.
Methods: Three Monte Carlo (MC) simulated digital patient phantoms were created, with time-activity data for mIBG labelled to I-123 (LEHR and ME collimators) and I-131 (HE collimator). The study assessed the accuracy of the mean absorbed doses for I-131-mIBG therapy treatment planning.

Introduction: rhTSH-assisted radioiodine therapy of multinodular goiter is not fully known and only a few studies, with a limited number of patients have evaluated the effect of rhTSH assisted radioiodine therapy beyond 1 year. Though there is an effective and safe management of benign non-toxic MNG available, it is not applicable to all patient categories in Kuwait covering the impact of the past environmental events (Gulf War) and the genetic relation. The proposed project aims to address those points raised, that is exclusive to the Kuwait population.
