In patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI), thrombolytic therapy and revascularization strategies allow complete recanalization of occluded epicardial coronary arteries. However, approximately 35% of patients still experience myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury, which contributing to increased AMI mortality.
