Orienting staff to multiple areas is challenging, as is maintaining multiple competencies, which might be used infrequently. Creating a strategy to regularly assess needed competencies to maintain a highly skilled pool of nurses, prepared to float to multiple areas, is critical to supporting flexible staffing. A plan for how to achieve this complex analysis is described and can be translated to other complex environments.

Cholera remains a significant public health challenge in Nigeria, with recurrent outbreaks exacerbated by inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure, as well as conflict and displacement. This review examines cholera outbreaks in Nigeria from 2010 to 2024, analyzing epidemiological trends, contributing factors, and public health responses. Seasonal peaks during periods of heavy rainfall and flooding have consistently facilitated transmission, with Northern regions disproportionately affected due to poor infrastructure and ongoing conflicts.

Introduction: High-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) is a premalignant lesion of the cervix caused by persistent human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, which can lead to cervical cancer. Despite ongoing primary prevention efforts, considerable burden of illness remains. This study assessed the epidemiological, economic, and humanistic burden associated with high-grade CIN among adult women in Europe.

Purpose: The purpose of this work was to evaluate the image quality of a commercial CT scanner equipped with a novel detector and filtration technology called PureVision Optics (PVO).
Methods: CT number, noise, contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), modulation transfer function (MTF), and noise power spectrum (NPS) were assessed using the ACR CT Accreditation phantom scanned with various acquisitions at 80 kV, 100 kV, 120 kV, and 135 kV, each with multiple CTDIvol values of 20 mGy, 40 mGy, and 65 mGy. Artifacts were evaluated in an anthropomorphic head phantom, a cadaver head, and in patient studies.
The technique of spectral polarization imaging (SPI) is a potent detection tool in various fields due to its ability to capture multi-dimensional information. However, existing SPI systems usually face challenges associated with architectural complexity and computational requirements, rendering them unsuitable for handheld, on-board, and real-time applications. Consequently, a compact single-shot multispectral polarization imager (CSMPI) is proposed, which employs a combined spectral-polarization encoding strategy to address the aforementioned issues.

Anorexia nervosa (AN) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) often share multiple similar symptoms and are highly comorbid; however, the common and distinct brain neuroanatomy of these two diseases are unclear. The current study attempted to identify the overlapping and different gray matter volume (GMV) between AN and OCD. We conducted a voxel-wise meta-analysis of GMV using the latest Seed-based d Mapping with Permutation of Subject Images Toolbox (SDM-PSI) software.
