Introduction: Deutetrabenazine is a vesicular monoamine transporter 2 inhibitor used to treat tardive dyskinesia (TD) and chorea associated with Huntington disease (HD). To enhance detection of safety signals across individual trials, integrated safety analyses of deutetrabenazine in TD and HD chorea were conducted.

Methods: For TD, safety data were integrated from two 12-week pivotal studies (ARM-TD and AIM-TD) and through week 15 of the open-label extension (OLE) study (RIM-TD).

Department of Psychiatry, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 6001 Research Park Blvd, Madison, WI 53719, USA; Center for Healthy Minds, University of Wisconsin-Madison., 625 W. Washington Ave, Madison, WI 53703, USA.

Abnormalities within the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and autonomic nervous system have been implicated in depression. Studies have reported glucocorticoid insensitivity and reduced heart rate variability (HRV) in depressive disorders. However, little is known about the effects of cortisol on HRV and resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC) of the central autonomic network (CAN) in depression.

Background: Laquinimod modulates CNS inflammatory pathways thought to be involved in the pathology of Huntington's disease. Studies with laquinimod in transgenic rodent models of Huntington's disease suggested improvements in motor function, reduction of brain volume loss, and prolonged survival. We aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of laquinimod in improving motor function and reducing caudate volume loss in patients with Huntington's disease.

Flavonoids, common natural polyphenolic compounds from plants, have been proposed as highly effective and safe algicides. However, the molecular mechanism of flavonoids inhibiting Microcystis aeruginosa remains unclear. This study aims in exploring the global transcriptional changes and molecular docking in cyanobacterial cells in response to flavonoids.
