Levodopa-induced heavy dyskinesia was modeled in rats with severe hemiparkinsonian syndrome induced by injection of 6-hydroxydopamine in the left medial forebrain bundle. It is established that the antidyskinetic effect of the injectable dosage form of a new antiparkinsonian drug hemantane (5 mg/kg) after a single intravenous administration is weaker than that of the most effective in clinical practice antidyskinetic drug amantadine (20 mg/kg). However, after five days of treatment, the effect of hemantane injections exceeded that of amantadine.

Self-administration is made possible through subcutaneous injectable, oral, and rectal dosage forms.

Objective: The present study aimed to compare time to effective pain relief between diclofenac 75 mg intramuscular (IM) and tramadol 50 mg intravenous (IV) for ED patients with acute renal colic.
Methods: A randomised, double-blinded, sham-controlled, superiority trial was conducted. Patients diagnosed with acute renal colic (hydronephrosis and/or stone visualisation on point-of-care ultrasound) in the ED were randomly assigned to receive an IM injection of 75 mg of diclofenac or IV tramadol 50 mg.

Septic shock involves severe systemic inflammatory reaction toward various invading species, such as microorganisms and microbial toxins. Such a response is complicated and characterized as being a dynamic and time-dependent phenomenon. During this response, a significant amount of pro-inflammatory cytokines may be produced, causing a rapid death rate in septic victims and occasionally leading to apoptosis of immune cells within the first hours of septic reaction.
