Primary intraosseous meningiomas are rare extradural tumors. They are typically slow-growing, painless, and asymptomatic until they cause a mass effect. We report a case of a calvarial primary intraosseous meningioma, which became symptomatic despite a very small size.

Background: We examined operative and pathologic findings of a large series of dermoid cysts at a high-volume pediatric hospital over 23 years.
Methods: A retrospective review was performed of all dermoid cysts excised from 2000 to 2023 at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Lesions were classified by location.

Intraosseous occurrence of a spinal AVM is anecdotal, with only four such cases reported previously. This is the first report of a spinal intraosseous AVM in the cervical vertebrae. A 44-year-old male patient presented with a 2-month history of progressive quadriparesis and bladder dysfunction.

Background: Primary intraosseous meningioma of the skull (PIMS) is a rare type of primary extradural meningioma (PEM) involving cranial bone. The existing literature strongly suggest the importance of radiological feacures in pathological diagnosis of PIMS. Thereby, the aim of this study is to investigate the association between imaging classification and histopathological grading in PIMS.
