Article Abstract
Patients suffering from aortic arch aneurysms continue to encounter few treatment options. Because of co-morbidities, most are deemed to not be open surgical candidates. The two cases presented here demonstrate a novel endovascular approach in the care of an arch aneurysm complicated by dissection. Even though final graft configurations differed slightly between the two cases, all three great vessels were successfully de-branched through the combination of standard endovascular aneurysm repair techniques and modifications to off-the-shelf devices. Aortic flow was compartmentalized in the ascending aorta at or near the level of the sinotubular junction. This was done with a physician-assembled endografts. One of these lumens was dedicated to the descending aorta, while the other was further divided into three channels used to stent the great vessels. Completion angiography demonstrated patency in the arch, great vessels, and descending aorta. No endoleaks have been reported. Although data is limited, this approach appears promising.

Background: In patients with adult congenital heart disease (ACHD), significant atrioventricular valve regurgitation is an important risk factor for poor outcomes, such as heart failure. However, in many cases, transcatheter intervention may reduce the risk profile to avoid a high surgical risk.
Case Summary: A 44-year-old man with complex ACHD in the form of a double-inlet left ventricle, congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries, pulmonary atresia, atrial septal defect, and patent ductus arteriosus was referred for the treatment of severe tricuspid regurgitation.

Fusobacterium nucleatum (Fn), as an intestinal pathogenic bacterium, is closely related to the occurrence, progression, and limited therapeutic efficacy of colorectal cancer (CRC). The presence of Fn within CRC communities induces an inflammatory and immunosuppressive microenvironment while promoting new vessel formation. Therefore, developing novel methods to efficiently eliminate Fn and enhance the therapeutic outcomes against Fn-associated CRC is of great significance.

Cardiac strangulation is a rare phenomenon in children following epicardial pacemaker implantation, caused by compression of the heart and great vessels by the epicardial pacemaker wires. We report a rare case of cardiac strangulation presenting after 8 years of epicardial pacemaker implantation. On routine follow-up, computed tomography angiography showed significant extrinsic compression of the mid-left anterior descending (LAD) artery by the epicardial pacing wire.

Bioprinting, as an emerging technology, has great potential in constructing implantable vessel scaffolds.
