We report a case of malignant pleural mesothelioma treated with trimodality treatment. At three years after the extrapleural pneumonectomy, coronary artery revascularisation surgery for NSTEMI was performed in view of favourable long term prognostic and survival outcome. Five years following pleuropneumonectomy there is no clinical or radiological evidence of mesothelioma and the patient remains free of cardiac symptoms.

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is an immunomodulatory molecule that may play an immunosuppressive role in nonmelanoma skin cancer (NMSC), specifically basal cell carcinoma (BCC). Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma during pregnancy is extremely rare. Overall, including our case, only 19 cases confirmed antepartum have been reported to date. We report the case of a 37 year-old woman at 24 weeks of pregnancy in whom a pancreatic adenocarcinoma was identified during investigation of a suspected acute pancreatitis.
