Unlabelled: This study examined the impact of thiazide and RAAS antihypertensive medications vs DHP-RAAS medications on fracture risk. The close alignment of such settings with clinical use, combined with the potential bone benefits of ACEis and ARBs, provides enhanced accuracy in bone health evidence.
Purpose: To determine whether thiazides, combined with either angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEi) or angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), offer bone-protective benefits compared with dihydropyridine (DHP) drugs combined with ACEi or ARB.

Background: Many children and adolescents with cerebral palsy (CP) experience cognitive difficulties, impacting their academic, social, and emotional well-being. A Danish study from 2023 revealed that merely 40% of individuals with CP complete their elementary school education, and previous neuropsychological studies have found that most children and adolescents with CP experience cognitive difficulties. Yet, cognitive functioning is often assumed rather than assessed, and CP follow-up programs focus predominantly on physical functioning.

Background: The complexity of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is increasingly recognized through the identification of distinct subgroups, including those with an APL-like immunophenotype characterized by the absence of CD34 and HLA-DR expression, which is widely recognized as a representative immunophenotype in acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). This study sought to understand the clinical, molecular, and prognostic differences between AML patients with and without this phenotype.
Methods: This study retrospectively analysed 191 de novo non-M3 AML patients and identified 32 patients with the CD34HLA-DR phenotype resembling APL-like immunophenotype, considered as the experimental group.
