Background: Medial meniscus ramp lesions (MMRLs) are commonly associated with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries and may increase the risk of graft failure after ACL reconstruction (ACLR) if undiagnosed or left untreated. Although MMRLs have been extensively reported in adults, there are limited studies describing them in pediatric patients undergoing ACLR. The purpose of this study was to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis to determine the pooled prevalence of and risk factors for MMRLs in pediatric patients with ACL injuries.

Peri-implantitis is a pathologic condition associated with dental plaque that occurs in the implant tissue and is characterized by inflammation of the mucous membrane surrounding the implant, followed by the progressive loss of supporting bone. In this study, a case of guided bone regeneration therapy based on plaque control of peri-implant inflammation was reported. Four years after surgery for the left second premolar implant, the patient presented with "left lower posterior tooth swelling and discomfort for more than 2 years".

We report a case of a patient with dilated cardiomyopathy who experienced recurrent ventricular tachycardia (VT) and multiple defibrillations following CRT-D implantation. Due to worsening cardiac function, the patient required surgical implantation of a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) as a bridge to heart transplantation. During the procedure, we used the Ensite three-dimensional mapping system to perform activation and substrate mapping of the VT targets, followed by endocardial and epicardial cryoballoon ablation of clinical VT.

Background: The optimal imaging modality for selecting the device size in patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing one-stop left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) with concomitant pulmonary vein isolation (PVi) remains undefined. We compared preprocedural 3-dimensional computed tomography (3D CT) with intra-procedural transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and left atrial appendage (LAA) angiography in guiding one-stage PVi and LAAO.
Methods: We measured the LAA ostium diameter using an interactive 3D CT system with a central line-based approach and compared these measurements with those from intra-procedural TEE and angiography, and the actual device size.

Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are effective antineoplastic agents but can cause adverse effects in many organ systems. Cardiovascular toxicities include arrhythmias, myocarditis, heart failure, takotsubo syndrome, pericarditis, coronary artery disease, and vasculitis.
Case Summary: A 66-year-old woman with Stage 3C2 endometrial carcinoma presented for her second cycle of pembrolizumab, carboplatin, and paclitaxel.
