Cellular immunity of clinically healthy Macaca fascicularis was studied by fl ow cytometry with monoclonal antibodies. Parameters of cellular immunity in Macaca fascicularis and Macaca rhesus virtually coincided and were maximally close to those in humans.

Tissue-resident memory T cells (TRM) provide frontline protection against pathogens and emerging malignancies. Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) with TRM features are associated with improved clinical outcomes. However, the cellular interactions that program TRM differentiation and function are not well understood.

Bacterial membrane vesicles (MVs) are produced by all bacteria and contribute to numerous bacterial functions due to their ability to package and transfer bacterial cargo. In doing so, MVs have been shown to facilitate horizontal gene transfer, mediate antimicrobial activity, and promote biofilm formation. Uropathogenic is a pathogenic Gram-negative organism that persists in the urinary tract of its host due to its ability to form persistent, antibiotic-resistant biofilms.

Introduction: T cells are involved in the early identification and clearance of viral infections and also support the development of antibodies by B cells. This central role for T cells makes them a desirable target for assessing the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Methods: Here, we combined two high-throughput immune profiling methods to create a quantitative picture of the T-cell response to SARS-CoV-2.

Tumor vaccines that activate the autologous immune system to eliminate tumor cells represent a promising approach in cancer immunotherapy. However, challenges such as tumor heterogeneity, limited antigen selection, insufficient antigen presentation, and the slow onset of de novo immune responses have resulted in poor universality and suboptimal response rates. In contrast, pathogen-specific pre-existing immunity acquired through infection or vaccination, can rapidly generate a more potent and enduring immune response upon re-encounter with the same antigen.

Adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL) is a type of blood cancer related to human T-cell lymphotropic virus type 1 (HTLV-1). The principal aim of this study was to investigate cellular processes related to innate immune response, intracellular protein transport, and translational initiation regulation in individuals afflicted with ATLL and Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Whole blood samples and peripheral blood mononuclear cells were collected from 10 viral ATLL patients and 10 ALL subjects.
