Unlabelled: Locally advanced oral carcinoma requires extensive surgical intervention, leading to significant postoperative nutritional challenges. Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) feeding has emerged as a preferred method over nasogastric (NG) feeding, providing consistent nutritional support that aids recovery by reducing complications and enhancing quality of life. This prospective cohort study followed 50 patients with locally advanced oral carcinoma requiring postoperative PEG feeding.

PCNL, a minimally invasive surgical technique for kidney stone removal, relies on achieving stone-free status, which various scoring systems aim to predict. This study assesses the predictive accuracy of the Clinical Research Office of the Endourological Society (CROES) and Guy's Stone Score (GSS) systems in determining stone-free rates following percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) in pediatric patients. A retrospective analysis was conducted on 580 pediatric patients who underwent PCNL at Çukurova University Urology Clinic between January 2007 and March 2024.

Goals: To assess the feasibility and safety of endoscopic ultrasound-guided laser ablation (EUS-LA) of retroperitoneal lymph node (RPLN) metastasis.
Background: RPLN metastasis is challenging to treat, partly due to hazardous location. EUS-LA is a new attractive option for lesions in high-risk or percutaneous difficult-to-reach locations.
Purpose: This retrospective cohort study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic decompression (PTED) with those of posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF) for the treatment of degenerative lumbar scoliosis (DLS) with lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS).
Methods: In this study, 143 DLS patients who met the inclusion criteria from January 2016 to March 2019 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into the PTED and PLIF groups. The propensity score matching (PSM) method was used to adjust for imbalanced confounding variables between the groups.

Complications of gastrostomy tube placement and enteral feeding are common. However, most are minor and without serious adverse effects, such as superficial skin infections, peristomal leakage, tube dislodgement, and minor bleeding. Misplacement of a gastrostomy tube through the anterior and posterior gastric walls is a rare but serious complication.
