Background: Clinical situations marked by severe social withdrawal in youths are increasingly recognized as an important public health issue in European countries, while the relation with the hikikomori syndrome initially described in Japan remains poorly investigated.
Aims: This study aims to describe the sociodemographic features of adolescents and young adults with social withdrawal in French and to validate a French version of the Hikikomori Questiuonnaire-25 (HQ-25).
Method: An online questionnaire was completed by 450 participants aged 13 to 25 years.

Introduction: Atopic dermatitis (AD) and related atopic diseases are among the chronic health conditions that are becoming more common in children. Children with AD may develop atopic comorbidities, which makes it more difficult to manage treatment and necessitates more precautions in the child's everyday life. To illustrate how this invisibility of social conditioning works, some very famous stories are helpful, both for how this conditioning works and for how it is resisted, because, simply put, obedience is not the same as being good.

Background: Malaria poses a significant public health threat globally, particularly in African regions, where asymptomatic malaria is a considerable logistic problem. Individuals with asymptomatic malaria do not seek treatment, and thus they are invisible to health facilities and represent a substantial hidden reservoir of Plasmodium species. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of asymptomatic malaria and its associated factors in Gorgora, western Dembia district, Northwest Ethiopia.

Termination of pregnancy due to a fetal anomaly is a challenging and mentally stressful experience, associated with trauma-related stress, depression and symptoms of complicated grief. It differs from other types of pregnancy loss because of the role of active decision-making. Expectant parents depend on caring and experienced staff to guide them during a time full of ambiguity and contrasting emotions.
