Multidimensional 3D-rendered objects are an important component of vision research and video- gaming applications, but it has remained challenging to parametrically control and efficiently generate those objects. Here, we describe a toolbox for controlling and efficiently generating 3D rendered objects composed of ten separate visual feature dimensions that can be fine-adjusted using python scripts. The toolbox defines objects as multi-dimensional feature vectors with primary dimensions (object body related features), secondary dimensions (head related features) and accessory dimensions (including arms, ears, or beaks).

This article discusses and explores acclaimed new media artist Huang Hsin-Chien's virtual reality (VR) experience (Shishenji, 2019). In this film, through the process of the body illusion or the body replacement program, a component specific to VR, viewers embody the soul of a political prisoner deceased during Taiwan's martial law era. juxtaposes Taiwan's traditional spiritual traditions with references to the Ghost Festival () and includes a dystopic vision of the future that appears towards the end of the film.

Purpose: This study presents a novel randomized controlled trial investigating photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy as an intervention method for color vision deficiency (CVD).
Methods: A total of 74 participants with CVD were assigned to either the PBM group or the control group. In the PBM group, participants wore virtual reality (VR) goggles twice daily, with a 12-h interval, over a four-week period.

Wide field of view and light weight optics are critical for advanced eyewear, with applications in augmented/virtual reality and night vision. Conventional refractive lenses are often stacked to correct aberrations at a wide field of view, leading to limited performance and increased size and weight. In particular, simultaneously achieving a wide field of view and large aperture for light collection is desirable but challenging to realize in a compact form-factor.
