International demands exist for the patients safety guaranteeng, in the live donors of organs peculiarly, who consciously agreed to be operated on with the organ excision for the patient sake. That's why it is important to elaborate optimal measures of safety for such operative intervention, including anesthesiological support for donors of kidney. Advantages of modern anesthetics application, ingalation introduction of sevofluran and intravenous injection of propophol over standard analgesia were discussed. The investigation was conducted in 53 live familial donors of kidney. Application of the recommended tactics have permitted to reduce the risk of occurrence and rate of complications in these patients.

Organ transplants are used to treat many end-stage diseases, but a shortage of donors means many patients cannot be treated. Xenogeneic organs have become an important part of filling the donor gap. Background: The existing criteria for living kidney donors (LKDs)in Japan are controversial. We evaluated the roles of computed tomography volumetry (CTV) and 99 m Tc-diethylenetriamine penta-acetic acid (DTPA) scintigraphy in assessing preoperative and postoperative renal function and predicting early recovery of residual renal function.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical charts of 175 consecutive LKDs who underwent donor nephrectomy (DN) at our institution between 2006 and 2022.

Objective: To explore the application and the clinical value of metagenomic sequencing in system evaluation of potential kidney donors, along with donor-derived infection in kidney transplantation.

Methods: A prospective study was conducted on 40 voluntary renal donors in Ningbo Urology and Kidney Disease hospital from January 2021 to August 2023. The results of donor pathogen fed back by metagenomic sequencing were analyzed to understand the clinical significance of metagenomic sequencing in donor evaluation.
