Background: Stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) is the fifth most common tumor worldwide, imposing a significant disease burden on populations, particularly in Asia. Oxidative stress is well-known to play an essential role in the occurrence and progression of malignancies. Our study aimed to construct a prediction model by exploring the correlation between oxidative stress-related genes and the prognosis of patients with STAD.

The earthball , an ectomycorrhizal basidiomycete belonging to the Sclerodermataceae family, serves as a significant mutualistic tree symbiont globally. Originally, two genetically sequenced strains of this genus were obtained from fruiting bodies collected under chestnut trees (). These strains were utilized to establish ectomycorrhizal roots of chestnut seedlings.

The ubiquitin-proteasome system influences cancer progression through multiple mechanisms. Due to the extensive proteasomal modifications observed in cancer tissues, ubiquitination is closely related to various biological functions with cancer. However, the roles of ubiquitin-related genes (UbRGs) in breast cancer (BC) have not been thoroughly investigated.

Mechanical and thermal cell damage can occur due to invasive procedures related to drilling, the insertion of dental implants, and periodontal treatments. Necrotic cells release the content of their cytoplasm and membrane fragments, thereby signaling the need for repair, which includes bone resorption by osteoclasts and inflammation. Here we screened lysates from human gingival fibroblasts, HSC2 and TR146 oral squamous carcinoma cell lines, as well as murine IDG-SW3 osteocytic and RAW264.

Yersinia pseudotuberculosis (Ypt) is a gram-negative bacterium that infects both humans and animals primarily through fecal‒oral transmission. While Ypt causes acute gastroenteritis in humans, an association with Kawasaki disease (KD), a disease that primarily affects infants and young children and causes multisystemic vasculitis, has also been suspected. Although KD represents a significant health concern worldwide, the highest annual incidence rate is reported in Japan.
