Pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma is an uncommon tumor, thought to be a benign neoplasm. Pericardial cysts are also uncommon benign abnormalities, most often found incidentally on chest radiography. We describe the case of a 51-year-old woman in whom both lesions were incidentially detected on a routine chest radiograph. Enucleation of the pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma and simultaneous resection of the pericardial cyst were undertaken.

Pulmonary sclerosing pneumocytoma is a rare benign neoplasm typically seen in middle-aged women. The exact preoperative diagnosis is quite challenging considering its nonspecific clinical and radiologic features along with complex histology. Moreover, obtaining an exact histopathological diagnosis can be difficult especially with the small biopsy specimens.

Objective: To analyze the clinicopathological features and predictors of lymph node metastasis (LNM) in the diffuse sclerosing variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (DSV-PTC) and compare these findings with conventional papillary thyroid carcinoma (C-PTC) in pediatric populations.
Methods: Patients aged 18 years or younger who were preoperatively diagnosed with PTC and underwent thyroidectomy at the First Affiliated Hospitals of Nanchang University from January 2017 to May 2024 were included in this study. Demographic and clinicopathological characteristics were retrospectively analyzed.
