Research on the construction, crystal morphology, and functions of a novel zeolite L-mimic metal-organic framework (ZLMOF) was carried out. Treatment of the tubular crystals with AgBF4 in acetone at 40 °C smoothly coated the surface of the ZLMOF crystals with silver(0) nanoparticles.

The initiation of calcium oxalate (CaOx) kidney stone formation is highly likely to stem from injury to the renal tubular epithelial cells (RTECs) induced by stimulation from an aberrant urinary environment. CHAC1 plays a critical role in stress response mechanisms by regulating glutathione metabolism. Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and ferroptosis are demonstrated to be involved in stone formation.

Various tubular diseases in patients with multiple myeloma (MM) are caused by monoclonal immunoglobulin light chains (LCs). However, the physicochemical characteristics of the disease-causing LCs contributing to the onset of MM-associated tubular diseases remain unclear. We herein report a rare case of MM-associated combined tubulopathies: non-crystalline light chain proximal tubulopathy (LCPT) and crystalline light chain cast nephropathy (LCCN).

Vitamin E, an important physiologic antioxidant, has been shown in rat models to prevent calcium oxalate crystal deposition. Our objective was to determine if low dietary vitamin E intake was associated with a higher incidence of stones.

Background: To explore the underlying causes of significant fluctuations in creatinine levels within three days due to transient and severe uric acid elevation, and to provide evidence for the interpretation of abnormal test results and clinical diagnosis and management.
Methods: The issues were resolved by retesting the samples, comparing results across different detection platforms, and analyzing the reaction curve. We comprehensively reviewed patients' general conditions, imaging examinations, and treatments.
