Purpose: To provide a comprehensive understanding and propose a strategy for the management of extragonadal malignant germ cell tumors (EMGCTs) arising from extracranial and nonvaginal sites.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the cases of 12 patients with EMGCTs arising from extracranial and nonvaginal sites treated in our center over the past 38 years. Data on clinicopathological characteristics, treatment modalities, and follow-up information were analyzed.

Background: Ectopic pregnancies represent a potentially life-threatening medical emergency, with 95% being tubal. This meta-analysis aimed to identify early predictors for single-dose methotrexate (MTX) treatment failure in tubal pregnancies.
Methods: A literature search was conducted across several databases from their inception to December 2023, with references in the selected studies manually reviewed.

Background: Ectopic pregnancy (EP) accounts for approximately 2% of all pregnancies, with tubal ectopic pregnancies (TEPs) being the most common type. Methotrexate (MTX) is a noninvasive and effective medical management option for TEP, but failure rates range from 10 to 36%, posing challenges in clinical practice. Identifying risk factors for MTX treatment failure is crucial to improve patient outcomes and guide clinical decision-making.

Rainbow trout () is a promising cultivable fish species with significant potential for expansion. As a cold-water fish belonging to the Salmonidae family, it requires an optimal temperature range of 10-15°C for optimal growth. This study explores a method for producing sterile rainbow trout with maximum survival rates by using heat shock treatment to enhance growth characteristics and improve aquaculture practices.

Primary intracranial yolk sac tumor (YST) with orbital involvement is an exceedingly rare extragonadal germ cell tumor, with only a limited number of cases reported in the literature. Clinically, primary intracranial yolk sac tumor with orbital involvement may present with symptoms that mimic more common benign or malignant orbital disorders in children, potentially leading to diagnostic delays that can adversely impact survival. Diagnostic imaging modalities, including computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), are instrumental for assessing the tumor's size, precise localization, and extent.
