Subclavian artery pseudoaneurysms are rare but potentially life-threatening vascular injuries frequently associated with trauma such as clavicle fractures. In this paper we describe the case of a 49-year-old male who developed a post-traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the subclavian artery after a bicycle accident. The diagnosis was delayed due to non-specific symptoms and an initially missed aneurysm on computed tomography imaging.

Spontaneous cervical swelling syndrome is a rare, benign, and recurrent condition, most commonly affecting middle-aged women. Although its etiology is not fully understood, it is thought to be associated with intermittent occlusion of the thoracic duct, caused by increased pressure in the head and neck region. It occurs as an acute, limited swelling of the left supra-clavicular region and regresses, in most cases, spontaneously, in less than a week.

Supraspinous fossa is an important location in the periscapular region, which houses important structures such as the supraspinatus muscle and the suprascapular nerve. The supraspinous fossa can be affected by pathologies involving its contents (supraspinatus muscle and suprascapular nerve), osseous boundary (scapular body, distal clavicle, and spinous process), or superficial soft tissue covering it. In this pictorial review, we describe the detailed anatomy of the supraspinous fossa.
