Background: Burkitt's lymphoma (BL) is the most common subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in children, typically presenting with extranodal masses in areas such as the abdomen, face, and neck. Cardiac involvement in BL is extremely rare, especially in pediatric patients, and has significant implications for diagnosis, management, and prognosis.
Case Presentation: A 6-year-old male patient with Burkitt's lymphoma, presenting with an uncommon infiltration of the interatrial septum, is described.

Autoimmune pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP) is a rare lung condition characterized by the accumulation of surfactant proteins within the alveoli, leading to respiratory distress. We describe a 49-year-old female homemaker with a history of passive smoking and exposure to wood smoke and pigeon droppings. She presented with a dry cough and progressive dyspnea, experiencing significant deterioration in her condition over one year.

A 76-year-old Japanese man was incidentally diagnosed with a pancreatic head tumor on computed tomography after surgery for colon cancer. He underwent pancreatoduodenectomy and was diagnosed with IgG4-related autoimmune pancreatitis. Concurrent chronic kidney disease gradually progressed and chronic hemodialysis was introduced 2 years later.

Background: Radiation nephropathy (RN) can be a significant late complication after radiotherapy for abdominal and paraspinal tumors. The mechanisms for the development of RN are thought to involve disruption of podocyte function, leading to podocyte cell death and, finally, impaired renal function. This study investigated the mechanistic role of SMPDL3b in regulating podocyte injury and renal function after irradiation.
