Indocyanine green video angiography, integrated into the operative microscope, is frequently used in cerebrovascular surgery. This technology is often preferred, for cost or availability, to Doppler or intraoperative DSA (digital subtraction angiography). With the same assumption it was possible, in our preliminary experience, to partially vicariate the aforementioned devices using the SPY mode of the Stryker endoscope; it allowed the visualization of fluorescence in high definition.

Introduction: Acceptable Noise Level (ANL) is defined as the most comfortable level (MCL) intensity for speech and is calculated by subtracting the maximum noise tolerable by an individual. The ANL test has been used over time to predict hearing aid use and the impact of digital noise reduction. This study analyzes this impact by using different masker babble spectra when performing the ANL test in both hearing-impaired and healthy subjects in three different languages (Dutch, French, and Italian).

Objective: This study initiated a preliminary computational fluid dynamics (CFD)-based study to investigate the relationship between quantitative hemodynamics of arteriovenous malformation (AVM) draining veins and rupture.
Methods: The quantitative hemodynamics of AVM draining veins were generated from computed tomography angiography (CTA)-based steady-state CFD models. Morphological and hemodynamic parameters were compared between the ruptured and unruptured groups.

Pure acute subdural hematoma (ASDH) is an uncommon clinical presentation of ruptured intracranial aneurysms, and only rarely, the culprit is a cortical microaneurysm.Mortality can be high; thus, appropriate diagnosis and treatment are crucial. Due to its extreme rarity, there are no available guidelines.

Carotid atherosclerosis disease assessment can predict the patient's risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). The purpose of this review is to provide a comprehensive review of carotid atherosclerosis disease's pathophysiology, diagnostic evaluation, imaging applications, and treatment strategies. Carotid atherosclerosis is diagnosed using a variety of techniques, including transcranial Doppler imaging (TCD), computed tomography angiography (CTA), magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), and cerebral digital subtraction angiography (DSA), with duplex ultrasound (DUS) as the primary screening.
