Objectives: Nepenthes, sometimes known as tropical pitcher plants or monkey cups, is a carnivorous plant genus that contains more than 160 species. Nepenthes khasiana, India's sole representative of the genus, is a rare and endangered dioecious plant endemic to North-east India. Despite the fact that it is a prominent insectivorous plant in the Nepenthaceae family, genomic resources for the species are limited, making genomic breeding and understanding the genetic basis of botanical carnivory difficult.

Previous studies showed that the female genital tract microbiome plays a crucial role in regulating the host's immune defense mechanisms. Our previous research has shown that Lactobacillus gasseri LGV03 (L. gasseri LGV03) isolated from cervico-vagina of HPV-cleared women contributes to clearance of HPV infection and beneficially regulate immune response.

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the relationships between kinesiophobia and injury severity, balance ability, knee pain intensity, self-efficacy, and functional status in patients with meniscus injuries and to identify key predictors of kinesiophobia.
Design: A single-center, prospective cross-sectional study.
Methods: A cross-sectional study involving 123 patients diagnosed with meniscus injuries at Fujian Provincial Hospital was conducted.

Background: Integrating germline genetic testing (GGT) recommendations from tumor testing into hereditary cancer clinics and precision oncology trials presents challenges that require multidisciplinary expertise and infrastructure. While there have been advancements in standardizing molecular tumor boards, the implementation of tumor profiling for germline-focused assessments has only recently gained momentum. However, this progress remains inconsistent across institutions, largely owing to a lack of systematic approaches for managing these findings.

Background/aims: Evidence regarding the long-term association between hemoglobin (Hb) levels and lung function in individuals from the general population is scarce. This study aimed to determine the longitudinal association between Hb levels and lung function in a community-based population cohort in South Korea.
Methods: We used linear mixed regression analysis to evaluate the longitudinal associations between Hb levels and lung function parameters, including forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV), and FEV/FVC.
