Objective: Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) is the most prevalent hereditary autoinflammatory disease among children. Abdominal pain and various gastrointestinal system (GIS) manifestations may arise directly from FMF or concomitantly with FMF. This study aimed to evaluate GIS complaints and findings other than classic peritonitis attacks in patients with FMF and to interpret concomitant GIS and hepatic disorders in these patients.

(1) Background: With the massive demand for the use and commercialization of medicinal cannabidiol (CBD) products, new randomized clinical trials (RCTs) are being published worldwide, with a constant need for safety and efficacy evaluation. (2) Methods: We performed an update on a systematic review published in 2020 that focused on analyzing the serious adverse effects (SAEs) of CBD in RCTs and its possible association with drug interactions. We also updated the report of the most prevalent CBD adverse effects (AEs).

PE revealed moderate pallor, RUQ pain, mild dyspnea, conjunctival injection and hepatomegaly. The CBC showed anemia, mild leukocytosis, hypoalbuminemia, hypertransaminasemia, presence of nucleated red blood cells.

Pediatric Crohn's disease (CD) is commonly associated with hepatobiliary complications, including transient liver enzymes elevation (LEE). Exclusive enteral nutrition (EEN) is recommended as primary treatment in mild-to-moderate pediatric CD. Data concerning EEN and liver enzymes (LE) abnormalities are limited.
