Analyzing the channels of information dissemination: Investigating abrupt transitions in resource investment.

Department of Applied Mathematics, College of Applied Sciences, Kyung Hee University, Yongin 17104, Republic of Korea.

Investment in resources is essential for facilitating information dissemination in real-world contexts, and comprehending the influence of resource allocation on information dissemination is, thus, crucial for the efficacy of collaborative networks. Nonetheless, current studies on information dissemination frequently fail to clarify the complex interplay between information distribution and resources in network contexts. In this work, we establish a resource-based information dissemination model to identify the complex interplay by examining the propagation threshold and equilibriums.

Background: Congenital heart disease (CHD) is a birth defect of the heart that requires long-term care and often leads to additional health complications. Effective educational strategies are essential for improving health literacy and care outcomes. Despite affecting around 40,000 children annually in the United States, there is a gap in understanding children's health literacy, parental educational burdens, and the efficiency of health care providers in delivering education.

Fracture-related infection (FRI) is a serious orthopaedic complication and its diagnosis, particularly in the upper extremity, is difficult and poorly defined in current literature. An international consensus definition of FRI was published in 2018, and our scoping review aims to investigate FRI diagnostic tools reported in the primary literature and their biostatistical utility. A review of articles generated from the PubMed/NCBI search term "fracture-related infection" was undertaken using PRISMA methodology.

Larotrectinib is a highly selective tropomyosin receptor kinase (TRK) inhibitor with efficacy in children with TRK fusion tumors. We evaluated patient outcomes after elective discontinuation of larotrectinib in the absence of disease progression in a protocol-defined wait-and-see subset analysis of eligible patients where treatment resumption with larotrectinib was allowed if disease progressed. We also assessed the safety and efficacy of larotrectinib in all pediatric patients with sarcoma.
