Epidemiology addresses itself more to disease than to the patient. In psychiatry the distinction between disease and health may be very arduous as are the determinations of its etiology. Efforts have been made recently to reach more coherence in the classification of diseases. The most noteworthy of these is the DSM-III of the American Psychiatric Association. Epidemiology played an important role in the elaboration of these classifications. Epidemiology can also teach us a more logical approach to problem solving. Such a logical approach is still lacking in psychiatric theories, ways of thinking and even modes of practical organisation.

Addressing the significant disparities in the development of the NEVs industry across different cities, this study focuses on ten typical Chinese cities and develops a novel multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) framework to evaluate the prospects of NEVs promotion in these cities. Monitoring and assessing the level of lower limb motor skills using the Biodex System plays an important role in the training of football players and in post-traumatic rehabilitation. The aim of this study was to build and test an artificial intelligence-based model to assess the peak torque of the lower limb extensors and flexors. Conventional ergonomic observation methods, such as rapid entire body assessment (REBA), are limited in their sensitivity and reliability, particularly in detecting changes in input variables. This study integrates fuzzy logic with the REBA method, utilizing trapezoidal membership functions to fuzzify the input variables. The center of gravity method was employed for defuzzification, and if-then rules were formulated to enhance the REBA method.
